The Crab Pot Bellevue is a fun and casual restaurant specializing in delicious seafood. What makes this particular restaurant famous is its incredible Seafeast. There are several different varieties of Seafeast but they all have one thing in common: giant steamed buckets of seafood that are dumped directly onto the table. For those looking for a more traditional entrée, The Crab Pot Bellevue has a wide variety of options. The rest of the menu is made up of fried seafood, grilled seafood, chicken, burgers and sandwiches. While the seafood options are delicious, there are plenty of beef and chicken dishes as well like the colossal bacon cheeseburger, and grilled chicken breasts with seasonal vegetables.
We use fresh seafood caught locally when available! The Crab Pot has three locations. Our Bellevue location is along Lake Bellevue with private parking and a view of the downtown Bellevue skyline. With our famous seafood feasts served family-style on the table, we guarantee an experience you will remember!
"We prefer this location over Seattle. There’s lots of parking, the location is beautiful, and the restaurant itself is very clean. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We got “The Alaskan” seafood boil, and it came with a LOT of seafood! The flavors were delicious and it’s a fun experience. We also got the oyster shooter and rockerfeller, which were both equally delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back!"
A comfy crab boil near the water.
Ambiance: The Crab Pot is located right on the manmade lake, Lake Bellevue, facing the city. I've never seen is truly packed, but when I come the window seats are highly coveted. Especially if you're coming in the summer, I highly suggest sitting near the windows. All seating is made of wood, which gives the restaurant a pirate ship feel. Very authentic!
Food: I highly suggest getting a feast, which is essentially a big pot of seafood. They have 5-6 types of feasts to choose from, which vary greatly in terms of offerings between clams, mussels, shrimp, crab, and lobster, along with potatoes and sausage. We decided to get the Alaskan, which had: Dungeness, Snow, and King crab, clams and mussels, and shrimp. It was an amazing experience, and paired great with old bay and butter! As much as I loved all the food, it was a little bit too much food. Luckily, they do provide to-go boxes if you want to take your meal home.
Service: All the servers are amazing. You will truly feel valued if you come, specifically on Saturdays/Sundays when Vicky is working. All in all, this place is a 5/5 must try!
I’ve been going to this place with my family for birthday dinners or occasions for years ever since I was child. I always enjoyed cracking open the crab with hammers and the delicious seafood. The atmosphere is really nice as well as the service but this place means more to me than just a restaurant. So many memories I made here so this place always has a place in my heart.
